Government Documents Department
About the Depository Collection at the University of Dayton
Roesch Library is a selective federal Depository library, receiving about 35% of the material distributed by the Government Printing Office.
The library selects documents based on the needs of the University community and the congressional
district.
Most documents are housed in the Government Documents area on the 1st floor along with a
small collection of Ohio state documents. The majority of the government publications
received by the library are classified according to the Superintendent of Documents
classification system.
In-depth assistance is available at the Documents office (Room 106A), Monday through
Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by appointment (229-4259). Most documents are listed in the UD Online Catalog and most can
be checked out.
