Bibliographic Management
The Bibliographic Management department is responsible for the cataloging, classification, and
subject analysis of library materials in all formats, as well as adding and discarding volumes.
The department maintains the libraries' online catalog.
Bibliographic Management has OCLC Enhance authority for book format and participates in the
Library of Congress sponsored NACO and BIBCO programs.
The department's Book Preparation and Conservation unit prepares library materials for the
shelves. The Bindery unit is in charge of commercial binding of all library materials.
